The 39.62 metre Heesen motor yacht Lionshare has joined the market and is listed for sale with Kristen Klein and Kevin Merrigan of Northrop & Johnson.
Lionshare was built in steel and aluminium by Heesen in 1987 to a design by Mulder and is currently undergoing a large-scale refit. The classic yacht for sale will receive a number of upgrades including new navigation equipment on the bridge and audiovisual system throughout, new wood flooring and carpeting, new furniture and a refreshed colour scheme. Lionshare is also completing her 35-year ABS special survey.
Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests and spread over two of her four decks. A full-beam master suite is found forward on the main deck and features a king-sized bed with a desk/vanity space. On the lower deck - accessed via an illuminated staircase - is a VIP cabin that serves as a second master suite, alongside a queen cabin, a twin cabin with a Pullman berth and a double with an additional twin and Pullman berth.
The main saloon is home to a large living area with two sofas and three armchairs and is divided from a formal dining area by wooden cabinetry. Sliding glass doors lead to the aft deck where guests can enjoy a cocktail at the horseshoe-shaped bar.
Above, guests will find an al fresco dining area for up to seven guests with loose sun loungers, chairs and sofas that can be shaded by movable parasols.
She is powered by a pair of CAT C32 Acert engines, which were new in 2012 and fully rebuilt in 2020. A semi-displacement hull allows for a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 19 knots.
